About Wine By Air International
Since 1993, Wine By Air International has handled the movement of fine wine collections, with each shipment treated according to the requirements of the wine itself.
From its locations in South San Francisco and Paso Robles, the company provided temperature-controlled transportation, private collection relocation, international shipping and customs compliance, professional packing and crating, and climate-controlled storage.
For more than 30 years, Wine By Air had built its reputation through careful handling, personal attention, and dependable logistics. The website, however, did not reflect the level of service or experience behind the company.
Three decades of experience, but little visibility online.
For more than 30 years, Wine By Air built its business through relationships and word of mouth. That reputation wasn’t carrying over to the website.
By 2025, the site was dated, the content was thin, and Google visibility was slipping.
People searching for Wine By Air by name could find it. People searching for the services it provided were finding competitors instead.
Rebuilding the site around its services, audiences, and data.
Wine By Air’s website is read by more than potential customers. Insurers and attorneys look at it too, so the copy has to sell without creating liability.
Design
Design
We replaced the dated site with a cleaner, more subdued design that better reflects how Wine By Air operates. The new structure also gave each service and audience a clear place on the site, from private collectors to auction houses.
Content
Content
We rewrote the site's core content and added dedicated service and audience pages. The language stays measured and specific, showing what Wine By Air handles without making claims that go beyond the service.
Optimization
Optimization
We used search data to see where the new site was gaining visibility and where there was room to improve. That gave us a clear direction for refining the pages as the site settled in, instead of relying on assumptions.
90 days later, the difference was clear.
Within 90 days, Wine By Air was getting more clicks, appearing for more searches, and showing up more often in results.
The gains compounded and service searches reached the edge of page one, as the new site established itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does redesigning a website hurt SEO?
Not when the redesign is planned around search from day one. Wine By Air relaunched with all-new content and grew clicks from Google by 62% in the following 90 days. The risk comes from redesigns that change URLs and strip content without a plan, not from redesigns themselves.
How long before we see rankings improve?
For Wine By Air, measurable movement showed up within about 60 days of relaunch, and monthly clicks nearly tripled between March and June. Most sites see the first clear signals within one to three months, depending on how competitive the space is.
How do you redesign a website without losing existing rankings?
Audit first. We map what currently ranks and earns traffic, preserve what works, and redirect every URL that moves. Then we watch Search Console after launch and fix anything that slips before it becomes a trend.
What does a website redesign cost?
Most of our redesign projects fall between 2000–5000 depending on page count and content needs. The audit is free and tells you exactly what yours would involve.
Will I lose traffic while the new site is being built?
No. The existing site stays live and untouched until launch day. The new site is built in parallel, and the switch happens once, when everything is ready.
